If you are looking to add some “glam” to your home, wallpaper will help add interest and drama to your rooms. Some people LOVE wallpaper, some hate it, choosing the right wallpaper for your home is an art on its own. Adding wallpaper can get quite expensive, so it would probably save you money to hire a professional to get the right advice of what is current and what will work well in your neighborhood. In the photos below, you can see a house where we used wallpaper in many rooms, it is understated, yet adds texture and layers to the rooms.

Its hard to see in the photos to how nice the wallpaper looks in person. Don’g forget, wallpaper is not a substitute for art, its another layer. You will still likely need some art, but not as much. We don’t usually recommend wallpapering the whole room, sometimes 1 or 2 walls are enough. make sure to judge by the shape of the wall and where you want the buyers eye to go. for example in the room below,

Most people would do the wall with the bed on it. But in this case, it was not a simple wall. Doing this wall would bring more attention to this jugged ceiling. We advised to do the window wall, where it added drama to the room.

sometimes, all you need is a little paint, no need for wallpaper. in the photo below, you can see the darker grey paint in the washroom, made a huge difference.  Complimentary art and flowers, completed the look.
