See how we transformed this house to a beautiful modern home. Even the home owners could not believe how great it looked once we were done. They may even be having second thoughts about selling....
The Entrance in this beautiful home had very busy wall paper. We suggested to remove the wallpaper and paint. We added a hall table, art, and some white flowers.
The Living Room was very bright, wall colour was bright pink, curtains had a floral and the matching furniture had the same colours. The problem here was that these items gave the house a "cottage" feel which is not the look we want in Forest Hill, when selling your house.
As you can see, we suggested painting the pink to a neutral beige colour, Removing the personal items, and we brought in beautiful light furniture. We also added some mirrored and silver accessories.
Over all, this is the most important room. if the buyers won't like this room, they will be turned off, and likely won't be interested in the house at all.
This room is a large sitting room right off the master bedroom. Walls were lilac, and it had huge floral furniture, also had a large television and a stationary bike. The simplicity of the dark furniture and light rug, also the neutral colour on the walls, make this an even more fabulous space that anyone can see themselves living in.
Family room downstairs, had blue carpeting, bright yellow walls, darker blue furniture and dark blue curtains - making the space look quite country again. We thought it was enough to remove the curtains - showing the beautiful back yard and pool, paint the walls, and update the furniture to a modern light sectional look. Adding art with dark frames always pops the room!
Master Bedroom furniture was just great, showed the space really well, we suggested painting the lilac walls and changing the bedding to give it a hotel look. Removing the floral curtains was an easy fix and we brought in some crystal lamps, neutral art, and accent pillows.
The dining room had beautiful walls, but we thought painting out the blue, removing the curtains and changing the chairs would do the trick.
We also added a couple of mirrors, and some white flowers on the table.
Although the whole house looks larger and brighter, i think the living room was the biggest transformation. Doesn't it make you want to stage your living room?
